I was born on Nov. 28, 1990 in San Antonio, Texas. My family moved to Alabama's Gulf Coast in 1993 and has been there ever since. I grew up in South Alabama, but I still claim Texas as my home. We visit family there every Christmas and the state has always had a special place in my heart. I graduated from Baldwin County High School in 2009 and enrolled at Faulkner State Community College the following fall. After two years at Faulkner, I made one of the best decisions of my life and I transfered to Auburn University.
I am currently a senior at Auburn University, majoring in public relations. Currently, I'm an intern for Auburn Athletics in the media relations department. Specifically, I assist the sports information directors for the football and men's golf team. I am extremely blessed to have been given the opportunities I've received through this internship. I've gained confidence in my work and important knowledge that will lead me to a successful career.
First and foremost is graduating, as expected, in Spring 2014. Upon graduation, I plan to use the skills I have learned and put them to work for my future employer. Majoring in public relations has opened my eyes to different avenues that I never knew existed. I'm not limiting myself to a specific field of work, but want to embrace each opportunity I am granted. I feel any experience is a valuable experience that can open doors to future endeavors. I want to work for a world-class company that shares the same morals and values that I have. I plan on continuing to build and develop working relationships that will strengthen the company's reputation. Overall, I plan to make positive impacts wherever I am and on whomever I encounter.
